An beautiful anthem to what could have been, had not most of Britain's "opposition" party spent four years doing all they could to destroy the good, decent, gentle man who the membership had overwhelmingly elected leader, deliberately worked to make sure Labour couldn't win an election with a leader whose only crime was realising the party needed to move on while they just wanted to drag it back- and who have now dragged Labour back to being a party that only disagrees with the Tories on trivial meaningless side issues like "corruption" and the bedroom tax, while now pledging itself to keep Thatcherism going on economic and spending policies, the only policies that make any meaningful difference in anyone's lives. Labour has now become a party of permanent death, permanent greed, permanent war- and nobody could possibly think voting Labout at the next election could make any meaningful changes in anything.
A great antidote for today's Coronation activities....thank you!
Listening on repeat today!
"One and the same". This woman is wonderful.
I did look to see if the BBC were playing this tonight, but they weren't.
What a wonderful anthem. God save the hungry indeed x
This was a fab gig!
Oh god that is such a lovely thing that the girl did and I hope there will be more brave enough to do something about all that we believe
